Spent my day wandering aimlessly (common theme?). The lack of a kitchen in this place is really bugging me, but I’ll live. This has been an horrendously expensive day, due entirely to the fact that I bought a rather nice waterproof jacket. An essential, right? Right?

Half-way

I realized that at some point recently, I crossed the half-way mark of my time in Asia.
Starting a two-day cruise of Ha Long Bay tomorrow morning. Should be good. After that, a sleeper from Hanoi to Hue and from there, bus to Hoi An.
